Let’s go back a few years to my first release, no word from Mars
When I uploaded the album to the distributor Distrokid, I was a bit excited at the idea of getting my first album out there… and I rushed it all and accidentally uploaded the wrong mixes on a couple of the tracks, then I just left it and never really promoted it. It wasn’t until I released Music for Intelligent Machines that I really started to promote my music on Spotify.
This album was created entirely on an ipad pro, using a cheap Irig input for guitar and bass – I was never really happy with the sound I could get on the guitar or bass via the ipad… but I persisted.
The best version of no word from Mars is on Bandcamp.
I plan to ‘(re)master’ the album soon and replace the original version across all platforms.
I hope you enjoy the music. I think it’s an eclectic album with a few really nice moments… let me know what you think?
