This is just a quick post to update on some recent happenings for my little Population of Mars project.
I’ve been releasing new music!
Release Schedule and Upcoming EPs
I’m going to start releasing a new song every week on #NewMusicMonday
These weekly releases will culminate with an EP every six weeks or so. I’ll release individual tracks and the eventual EPs to Bandcamp and SoundCloud. With each EP also being added to Spotify, Apple Music, etc via my distributor DistroKid.
I figure I’ve got enough half-finished songs to keep me busy for at least 5 EPs or around 30 weeks. The first EP will be called ‘EP 01 of 05:Physics’ and will be released in the next fortnight, there’s still a couple more tracks to be released in the lead up.
The following EP will be ‘EP 02 of 05: Earth’ and from memory, I was possibly planning ‘Robots’ for EP 03.

Transmissions Received – Community Radio
I’ve been getting more radio play… so much so that I even made it onto the local Three d Radio top 20 +1 most played, weekly chart at number 7! Massive thank you to Clint who presents ‘This is our Sound’ and also to Stu who presents the show ‘Four Larks and a Wren’ – they have both been playing my music over the last year – which has been fantastic!
I’ve also had songs played on The Local – SA via 5 Triple Z, huge thank you to Kym for sharing my music with her audience.
There’s a lot of amazing music coming out of South Australia, so to be included on these shows, with such amazing bands and artists is pretty special… for me. It’s inspiring me to make my music the best I can.
There’s a Space Rock radio show called ‘Mickmasters Space Rock Spectacular’ which is broadcast on Downtown Radio Tucson in the US and they’ve played my music a few times now – Thank you Mickmasters for the shout out – I was listening! Amazing music to be played along side of… another great radio show to be played on.
There have been other times my songs have been played on radio and I’d like to thank anyone who has shared my music, especially at this early stage of development.

There are some new music videos on my channel for a few of the songs from the upcoming EP 01 of 05: Physics.
I have been upgraded to an official artist channel on YouTube but still need to build up a subscriber following before I can get a custom URL, etc
